Robust Power Allocation for Integrated Visible Light Positioning and Communication Networks

Integrated visible light positioning and communication (VLPC), capable of combining advantages communications (VLC) (VLP), is a promising key technology for the future Internet Things. In VLPC networks, are inherently coupled, which has not been sufficiently explored in literature. We propose robust power allocation scheme integrated Networks by exploiting intrinsic relationship between communications. Specifically, we derive explicit relationships random errors, following both Gaussian distribution an arbitrary distribution, channel state information errors. Then, minimize Cramer-Rao lower bound (CRLB) subject to rate outage constraint constraints, chance-constrained optimization problem generally computationally intractable. To circumvent nonconvex challenge, conservatively transform chance constraints deterministic forms using Bernstein-type inequality conditional value-at-risk distributed respectively, then approximate them as convex semidefinite programs. Finally, simulation results verify robustness effectiveness our proposed design schemes.
